Big Night Out!
Pete and I went out last night to dinner at Mexi's and then to see God Made Me Funky at the Harvest Jazz and Blues festival. Thanks to Nanny and Grampy for watching Ava for us so we could enjoy a night out. It was great seeing everyone out.
I have also added a pic of Simon looking handsome with 5 stitches and a black eye! Yikes!

Happy Grandparents day!
Ava was a busy bee this weekend! We went to Mount Allison for the day to see daddy play rugby and today we visited Papa and Nanny & Grampy for Grandparents day. Still not a popular holiday, I just learned about it a few days ago. It's always the first Sunday after Labour day weekend. Here are a few pics of her with her new dress given to her from Adrienne, Jody and Morgan. Doesn't she look gorgeous?!

First Bath
After many wipe downs with a face cloth we decided to take it to the next level and give Ava her first bath. Not sure if she liked it or not as she began fussing before we even started. It certainly didn't soothe her! Here are a few pics from the big bath Friday night. I can't believe tomorrow is the 4th of September and Ava will be 1 month old! She's changed so much over the past month. She especially loves to show us how she can hold that strong neck of hers way up high! We are on our way to Riverview today for a day trip to see my brother Gary's new house. He and the family just moved there this past week after being in Ontario for 17 years! On another note Pete and I went to my longtime friends(since we were 3 and 4 years old) wedding. Melissa Pond now Houle married a fine Port Alberni man yesterday! We had Auntie Kristal watch Ava for the wedding ceremony and Auntie Kathy watched Ava for the reception that was all the way out in Mactaquac! I pumped and pumped all week so that I could be away for a few hours from Ava! We missed her so much! Both Aunties said she was great.
