Cake!

For the past month I have been taking the Wilton cake decorating course number 1 (out of 4) at Michaels. Here is tonights creation. I received my diploma at the end of the class. My family is so proud! ;) Well Ava is anyway...she is loving Wednesdays when she can eat my works of art! Now on to course 2 next week!

Mactaquac

This past weekend we made our way to Mactaquac for one night to test the camping experience with an almost 3 year old and a 7 month old. We had nice weather during the day. It got a bit cool at night. There wasn't any flies...thank God! Leah who currently sleeps through the night until 7:30am woke up at 4:30am. At first she just played with the toys in her crib and then she started to become vocal when she heard babies from our two next door neighbours crying. This lead to Ava waking up and then Pete. We were all awake and I was fighting off the cold/flu(Argh...) oh and did I mention our air mattress deflated and those tree roots sure felt great on my back! ;) All in all it was a positive trip!
