Pete took today off work so we could all head down to the exhibition for the day. Ava had a blast at her first go of riding the rides. Last year all she did was the merry go round. After dippy dogs, winning cheap stuffed animals, cotton candy, rides etc...we were wiped out (5 hours of exibition is a bit much!). Leah enjoyed the livestock and random balloons flying around! ;) I love to people watch at the Frex, some interesting people sure do appear this time of year! My favourite quote of the day happened while I was changing Leah in the bathroom in the Coliseum. A 30 something woman comes in to the washroom with her about 8 year old son who waits at the door. The mom enters a stall and yells "JESUS" the boy says "what Mom?" and she replies to him "some women are F-ing filthy F-ing pigs". He laughs and then repeats her. Positive parenting right there! Sure glad Ava wasn't there!
